Barbara Rooney Tartaglia, Au.D.,

Barbara Tartaglia earned her Masters degree in Audiology from Columbia University in 1985. She went on to complete her professional Doctorate from Arizona School of Health Science in 2007. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology since 1992 and has been a member of the American Speech, Hearing and Language Association since 1984 where she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence since then. She is currently licensed by New York State as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser.
Prior to working for ENT and Allergy Associates Dr. Tartaglia worked at Hackensack University Medical Center- Institute for Child Development from 1985- 2001 where she worked as Assistant Chief of the Audiology department from 1990- 2001. She gained extensive expertise in diagnostic audiology, pediatrics and the counseling and fitting of hearing aids while working there.
Dr. Tartaglia's areas of interest include auditory rehabilitation and the fitting of the latest digital hearing aids and vestibular and diagnostic testing including ENG, ABR and Ecoch.
