Dr. Ryan Steele is a board-certified Allergist-Immunologist and Internist. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and went on to conduct his thesis research in immunodeficiency at SUNY Downstate while completing his Master’s degree in Immunology from Long Island University. He earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Allergy-Immunology at Winthrop-University Hospital in New York.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Steele conducted post-doctoral research on auto-immune diseases and biological drug development at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. He treats adult and pediatric patients in a full range of allergic and immunologic diseases, with specific expertise in: urticaria/angioedema, drug allergy, and immunodeficiency.
He has authored and co-authored many peer reviewed publications, and presented at multiple conferences on topics in Allergy-Immunology. Dr. Steele is a diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
