Dr. Tahl Colen - I couldn't have asked for a better doctor, Her knowledge, expertise, kindness and compassion is above all. I also want to thank the staff for their quality care and professionalism.
I visited Dr. Mitzner and he was a pleasure to work with. Unlike most doctors these days, he was able to see me on the same day I called and did not make me wait too long when I arrived. He was very knowledgeable about the problem I had and provided a good solution. Unfortunately, I did not have insurance coverage at the time, and he was very accommodating and did his best to make the visit affordable. Overall, a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him for all ENT patients.
I recently had balloon sinuplasty performed by Dr. Fishman. He's been my ENT for many years and I trust his experience and skill. My results are great, I can breathe clearly and the best thing is I'm not getting frequent sinus infections like I used to. He has treated my entire family and operated on my kids. I trust Dr. Fishman and we're glad he's our doctor.
I am a big fan of Dr. Godin and his office on 5th Avenue. The location is really convenient to my office - it's either a quick subway ride from Union Square or a beautiful walk from my office on a nice day. Dr. Godin is thorough, friendly and funny, answers all of your questions, never rushes you through an office visit and has really helped with my throat problems. When I called and left a message regarding a prescription refill, he called me back from his cell phone to make sure that I was feeling OK. The office itself is bright and spacious and all the staff is really nice and helpful. No one likes going to the doctor - but Dr. Godin and his office are fantastic and make it as enjoyable as possible.
On 5/15/13 Dr Leventhal performed Septoplasty surgery for severe deviated septum and Nasal/sinus surgery, from day one Dr Leventhal and the staff at ENT & Allergy Oradell,NJ made me feel at ease, the surgery was performed at SurgiCare Surgical Associates Ridgewood NJ the doctors and staff were great, surgery went better than I expected, next day of surgery I had minimal swelling and next to no bleeding, also no need for pain medication, family and friends were surprise of the results, it's been six weeks and all is well, I don't remember the last time I was able to breath through my nose freely, but thanks to Dr. Leventahal I can, Thank you.
Dr. Markowitz' diagnoses are always spot-on, and you don't have to wait weeks to see him. He is courteous and thorough -- very professional. I would highly recommend him!
I had a sinus infection for four months. Out of desperation I went to see Dr. Mitzner. He got rid of the infection when other doctors couldn't. He ended four months of hell.
For eight years my husband had increasingly severe neurological symptoms: drooping eyelids, blepherospasm, double vision, inability to chew or swallow, inability to speak. Finally he reached the stage at which I could no longer understand him and all he was eating was mush and choking on that constantly. All this time we had been going to the top neurologists at Col. Presb. Hospital and Mt. Sinai. None of them helped him in the slightest. Not one recognized anything. Finally, in April 2012, our GP sent him to Dr. Aviv who recognized my husband's condition on the very first visit. It is an autoimmune condition called myasthenia gravis. He had all the classic symptoms but all the neurologists didn't see them for 8 years! Dr. Aviv saved my husband's life! Now, a year later, my husband is on medication and has his life back. Thank you Dr. Aviv.
From the moment I entered the waiting area I felt very comfortable. The receptionist, Desiree, was courteous and friendly. After a short wait I was taken into an exam room by Dr. Lazar's nurse. She was very nice and thorough. Dr. Lazar came in a few minutes later. She spent as much time with as needed. Her diagnosis was confirmed by CT Scan and surgery was decided upon. She is a lovely, kind Doctor, which are hard to come by. The surgery was a big success. I have had 3 followup visits and I'm feeling great. Thank you Dr. Lazar and staff.
I was staying with a friend in Hoboken for a few days and developed a horrible sinus infection (probably nightlife related) . My friend recommended this office because it was close to her apartment. It was a great experience - I completed my paperwork online that morning and was seen later that day by Dr. Glaser (no wait time! - such a pet peeve of mine). He was super nice, thorough and concerned. He spoke to me at length about quitting smoking and we had a long discussion about the acid reflux condition that I have had for a long time but continue to ignore. I wish his office was closer to where I live - but yay! he said that his practice has a location in Garden City! Thank you Dr. Glaser!
Dr. Rhee has been wonderful, very informative and very professional.
Dr. Bough has treated my son (age 4). He has a great bed side manner. He spoke to my son gently and nicely. He explained everything that he was doing. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an ENT.
In 1999 I began feeling a great deal of pain in my throat. I visited five otolaryngologists over a period of about six years. The pain continued to be severe. To the point of being sent to a doctor specializing in pain. I began with 3 pills everyday Over a period of three weeks I was up to seven pills a day. Nothing helped. In desperation I checked Connolly's "Best Doctors." The credentials and hospital association of Dr. Jonathan Aviv came to my attention. I took the first available appointment. After checking x-rays and etc he showed me a section of my throat that appeared to be two lips that should come together which did not. He arranged a procedure that took place at Columbia Hospital in which Dr. Aviv inserted a needle in my neck injecting "something" (do not know what was used) into the "lip" in my throat that was narrower to inflate it so it could meet the other. The pain was gone almost instantly but I refused to believe it would not come back. I did not want to be disappointed. When I woke up the following morning and there was no pain I realized Dr. Aviv changed my life in a way you could never imagine. Over the years I have had other problems with my voice and swallowing which Dr. Aviv very successfully helped me. It is an amazing feeling of security when you completely trust your Doctor.
Dr. Tandon is a phenomenal, caring, knowledgeable doctor. He performed tonsillectomy and adenoid surgery on my daughter when she was 3 years old. Her health improved drastically! He was very warm to her and I would absolute recommend him to anyone. Going through this with a young child was very scary but Tandon and his staff made us feel very comforted.
I was suffering for years from a constant cough, post nasal drip that lasted for months at a time. My medical doctor suggested probably an allergy but would not send me to a specialist. I then saw an episode of Dr.OZ "The Silent Killer: America's Fastest Growing Cancer" and many of the symptoms discussed where exactly what I had. I decided to take my health into my own hands and make appointment with allergist and ENT. Little did I know the ENT specialist turned out to be none other than Dr. Aviv who was actually on the Dr. Oz show. I was diagnosed with reflux and also with an allergy. Since I started with Dr. Aviv I have been cough free. Everyone notices that I no longer cough all day, every day. I am thrilled with my results and would recommend Dr. Aviv to everyone.
Dr. Leventhal was the best. So professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Very satisfied and grateful for all of the staff that assisted during my surgery. Thank you all
Excellent doctor. Great bedside manner/ personality. I've had 3 visits (so far) for a slight ear injury. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an ENT. Let's face it ...who "likes" going to a doctor? But he (and his staff) make the visit a good experience.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sach's since 1986 after being trapped in an expolosion. I have severe burns to my throat and upper respiratory region. Dr. Sach's did multiple surgeries, opened an airway for me for my vocal cords to move and gave me a tracheotomy as I had nerve and neurological damage. My life before Dr. Sach's was full of medication and mis-diagnosis. I was fitted with a special speaking trache and have had it ever since. I still periodiacally have spasms and breathing issues but because of Dr. Sach's I am able to overcome the medical challenges that come my way. Dr. Sach's is by far the finest doctor I have even worked with compassionate, smart nad caring. He is the absolutely one of the best and I owe him my life!
Perfection!!!!!! And he dresses gorgeously too!
Dr. Gold had a wonderful bedside manner. He was gentle when performing his examination and he explained very clearly why my voice has been hoarse. I will definitely be going back and I have already referred several of my friends to him.
