ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP® names Drs. Dan Gold and Ryan Borress as its Newest Practice Owners

White Plains and Poughkeepsie Physicians are 13th and 14th Associates to Earn Partnership in the Past 18 Months

Tarrytown, NY – December 28, 2012. The physicians of ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) successfully serve the needs of over 60,000 patients each month, across the Practice’s 36 New York and New Jersey clinical locations. The physicians of ENTA are board certified, fellowship trained practitioners whose experience and expertise ranges from adult and pediatric ENT to voice and swallowing, facial plastics, sleep medicine, ear and dizziness, allergy and audiology care. And, based on performance, tenure and-most importantly-patient satisfaction measures, the physicians of ENTA become eligible for Practice partnership consideration only after having demonstrated their value to the communities in which they serve.

Therefore, the ascension to Partner is one which is highly sought after and coveted by all associates who join the Practice. And it is with great pride that ENTA announces that two of its brightest stars and most superb otolaryngologists-Drs. Dan Gold and Ryan Borress-have rightfully earned the title of Partner at ENT and Allergy Associates, effective January 3, 2013

To put this achievement in perspective, ENTA is populated by more than 130 physicians, of whom just over 70 are partners. Over the past 18 months, 14 associates have been named partner, a clear indication that while the path is rigorous, the opportunity is ample.

Commented Dr. Wayne Eisman, President of ENTA, “Becoming a Partner at ENT and Allergy Associates is both a great honor-because it effectively changes a physician’s role from employee to co-owner of the entire Practice-and also an opportunity that is open to every one of our associates, on the basis of patient performance.” He continued, “Dan and Ryan have demonstrated that they deserve to stand among our partners, by proving themselves superb and worthy physicians on every measure.”

Dr. Dan Gold, Partner, currently sees patients in the White Plains, NY office of ENTA and is the chair of the Education Committee. Dr. Gold received his medical degree from the State University of New York- Downstate Medical Center. He then went on to complete his surgical internship and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency training at Tufts University- New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr Gold is the recipient of a variety of distinguished honors and distinctions in the field of Otolaryngology. In addition, Dr. Gold has published an array of original research in the Otolaryngology literature. Dr. Gold sees both pediatric and adult patients. His specialties lie in pediatric otolaryngology as well as in the medical and surgical care of patients with sinus disorders; ear disorders; head and neck cancer; thyroid gland masses; parotid gland tumors; voice disorders; snoring and sleep apnea; and nasal obstruction. He is currently The Chief of the ENT Service at White Plains Hospital Center, and is an Assistant Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital.
