Dr. Amy Lazar graduated from Cornell University in 1988 and received her medical degree from the University of the Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1992. She completed a General Surgery internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Lazar began training in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and completed her residency at Boston University Medical Center where she served as chief resident in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery in 1997-98.
Dr. Lazar is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, and she is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Heck and Neck Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society, and the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Lazar’s scope of practice includes sinus disease, snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, endocrine and salivary gland surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lazar performs cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, BOTOX, multiple facial fillers including Sculptra, as well as reconstructive surgery for skin cancer and facial deformities.
Dr. Lazar is currently practicing at our Somerville, NJ office. She also has a special interest in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and has extensive experience with 3-Dimensional Image guidance techniques.
