ENT and Allergy Associates continues to bolster Bayside presence and expertise,

adds Allergist/Immunologist Dr. Brian Safier

 

Tarrytown, NY –June 17, 2010 ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Safier, MD, Allergist/Immunologist, who will join ENTA in Bayside, NY effective August 1^st.  ENTA is the premier and most comprehensive Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy practice in the United States, with more than 100 physicians in 33 office locations throughout New York and New Jersey

 

Dr. Brian Safier graduated Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts with a B.S. in Biology, and went on to study at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.  He then completed his three year Pediatric Residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY.  Dr. Safier completed his Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology fellowship at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, and was an elected Residency Committee member at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.

 

The addition of Dr. Safier is one of several that ENTA is undertaking in order to best meet the needs of a growing patient population in Northeast Queens.  As previously announced, ENTA will also be adding Pediatric Otolaryngologist Dr. Tamekia Wakefield effective August 1^st, and Dr. Gerald Suh-Otolaryngologist/Sleep specialist-will begin full time office hours beginning in September. To accommodate this expansion, ENTA will be relocating its Bayside office to a new state-of-the-art facility in 2011, allowing the practice to fully serve both the pediatric and adult needs of this important community. The physicians of ENTA’s Bayside office work closely with, and will continue to bring their cases to, The Long Island Jewish-Schneider’s Children’s Hospital

 

Andrew Blank, M.D., a founding partner at the location and a physician who has been serving the needs of pediatric patients of Bayside for 20 years, stated, “Adding superb and dedicated talent like Drs.
