Christie Block, MA, MS, CCC-SLP
Christie Block, MA, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed and board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in the testing and treatment of voice and swallowing disorders, including the care of the professional voice. She also has expertise in the testing and training of speech/accent, fluency, and public speaking. She has more than 15 years of experience helping people from a wide variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds in business, outpatient, rehabilitation, hospital, home, and academic settings.
At ENT and Allergy Associates, Christie works directly with our otolaryngologists in our comprehensive voice and swallowing program (www.voiceandswallowing.com), where she performs state-of-the-art voice and swallow testing. Christie also has a private practice and teaches speech/voice at New York University.
Christie holds a Bachelor's degree in Asian Languages and Literature (Mandarin Chinese), and two Master's degrees in Linguistics and Communication Disorders. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
