COVID-19 UPDATE: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning from states with increasing rates of COVID-19  are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. The current list of states, which will be updated regularly, can be found at NY.Gov and NJ.Gov. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation. If you have traveled to one of these states and have stayed longer than 24 hours, we kindly request you self-quarantine at home for 14 days prior to coming into the office. Barbara Rooney Tartaglia, AuD, F-AAA ENTA

Barbara Tartaglia earned her Masters degree in Audiology from Columbia University in 1985. She went on to complete her professional Doctorate from Arizona School of Health Science in 2007. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology since 1992. She is currently licensed by New York State as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser.

Prior to working for ENT and Allergy Associates Dr. Tartaglia worked at Hackensack University Medical Center- Institute for Child Development from 1985- 2001 where she worked as Assistant Chief of the Audiology department from 1990- 2001. She gained extensive expertise in diagnostic audiology, pediatrics and the counseling and fitting of hearing aids while working there.

Dr. Tartaglia's areas of interest include auditory rehabilitation and the fitting of the latest digital hearing aids and vestibular and diagnostic testing including ENG, ABR and Ecoch.
