Dr. Adams received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree in 2005 from The School of Audiology at Salus University (formerly Pennsylvania College of Optometry). She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Gerontology from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and her Masters of Arts degree in Audiology from The College of New Jersey. Dr. Adams has experience in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, hospital based and ENT office. While working at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison NJ, Dr. Adams developed a hearing aid support and counseling program for both new and current hearing aid users. She then went on to work for Drs. Highstein, Horowitz, & Kaplan at Advanced Otolaryngology Associates where she was responsible for developing and running the daily operations of their hearing aid program. Dr. Adams specializes in the fitting of advanced hearing aid technology.
Dr. Adams is dual licensed to by the State of New Jersey to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids. Additionally, she is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
