Kerri-Leigh Heesemann, Au.D. earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Iona College in 2015. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from the CUNY Graduate Center in 2019.
Dr. Heesemann has gained experience in a variety of clinical settings, including rotations at university audiology clinics and as an audiology intern for the otolaryngologists of Long Island Jewish Medical Center and New York Head and Neck Institute. Dr. Heesemann completed her 4th year externship at the Long Island Jewish Hearing and Speech Center where she provided assessment and treatment for hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages.
Dr. Heesemann performs comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients from pediatric to geriatric populations, with a special interest in pediatrics. She additionally performs electrophysiological and vestibular testing for dizziness and imbalance and provides treatment through the dispensing of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and related counseling. Dr. Heesemann has a special interest in patient-centered care and seeks to provide treatment that is unique to every patient and family’s hearing needs.
