Dr. Lauren Sessa earned her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) degree in May 2015 from the Long Island Au.D. Consortium of Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s Universities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as a minor in Social Justice from St. John’s University in 2011.
Dr. Sessa’s gained experience in a range of clinical settings, including rotations at Adelphi, Hofstra and St. John’s Universities, Long Island Audiology, Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, Head & Neck Surgical Group and Montefiore Hospital. Dr. Sessa completed her 4th Year Externship at ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP, prior to coming on as a full time clinical Audiologist.
Dr. Sessa has experience in comprehensive diagnostic testing for the pediatric, adult and geriatric populations. She specializes in the dispensing of advanced technology hearing aids as well as in electrophysiological and vestibular testing, including ABR’s, ECoG’s and ENG/VNG’s. She is a member of the American Speech, Hearing, and Language Association and a New York State licensed Audiologist.
