Marla Durand, Au.D., CCC-A
Marla Durand, AuD earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree in May 2020 from Montclair State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, with a double minor in Psychology and Sociology from Rutgers University - New Brunswick in 2016.
Dr. Durand gained diverse clinical experience from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, private practice Audiology Island on Staten Island, Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat, and the Brick Veteran’s Hospital. Dr. Durand completed her 4th Year Externship at ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP in the Hackensack location.
Dr. Durand attends numerous conferences and workshops to remain up to date on current evidence-based research and technological advancements. Her clinical rotations have given her valued experience working with patients of all populations and age groups, aiding them through diagnostic testing, rehabilitation and counseling. She has special interest in fitting patients with hearing aids to improve their quality of life through improved communication abilities, as well as interest in assessing and diagnosing her patients’ vestibular disorders through specialized testing. Dr. Durand is a licensed audiologist in the State of New Jersey and holds her certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
