Nicole Trupo, Au.D., CCC-A earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in May 2020 from the Long Island Audiology Consortium, which include Adelphi, Hofstra and St. John’s Universities. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from James Madison University in 2016.
Dr. Trupo began her clinical experience with in-house rotations at Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John Universities. In addition, she completed clinical externships at Manhattan Audiology, ENT and Allergy Associates, and Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Trupo completed her fourth year residency with ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP in the Hauppauge and Lake Success offices. While obtaining her degree, Dr. Trupo was a member of the research Hear-Ring Lab at Hofstra University where she assisted in studies on noise-induced hearing loss and effect of music on hearing health in adolescents and young adults. In January 2019, Dr. Trupo participated in a mission trip to provide hearing health care to the people of Peru.
Dr. Trupo specializes in digital hearing aid fitting in both the adult and geriatric populations. She is proficient in audiologic and vestibular diagnostic testing in all ages as well. Dr. Trupo is also knowledgeable in specialty testing including ABR and EcochG.
Dr. Trupo is a member of the America Speech-Language and Hearing Association and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. She is also a licensed hearing aid dispenser in the State of New York.
