Ari J Goldsmith, MD, FAAP, an icon in the Brooklyn pediatric medical community-where he has been caring for infants and children for over 25 years-will be joining ENTA’s Bay Ridge West office.
Dr. Goldsmith received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, then served both his internship and residency at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He earned his fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology from the Children’s Hospital of Boston and the Harvard Medical School.
Most recently, Dr. Goldsmith served the pediatric population of Brooklyn as Director of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Maimonides Infants and Children’s Hospital. Prior to that, he was the Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Long Island College Hospital. Currently, Dr. Goldsmith is an associate professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He treats a wide variety of conditions including otitis media, sinusitis, upper airway obstructions, tonsillitis, vocal disorders in children, and many more.
He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been consistently recognized by Castle Connolly as one of America’s Best Doctors, and by New York Magazine as one of New York’s Best Doctors, among other accolades. He is the author of numerous publications and presentations.
