Tarrytown—January 20th, 2015: People throughout New York and New Jersey suffer from allergies. Long Island is certainly no exception.
That’s why ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), which counts 29 board certified allergists among its 160+ physicians serving patients in over 40 offices in both the Empire and Garden States, is continuously looking to supplement talent and expertise when the opportunity arises. And once again, it has.
The nation’s premier ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology practice today announced that Allergist/Immunologist Laura C. Helfner, MD will join ENTA as of August 1, 2015 at its brand new, 16,000 Sq. ft. state-of-the-art clinical facility in Hauppauge, New York, located at 2929 Expressway Drive North.
In the Hauppauge office, which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2015, Dr. Helfner will join otolaryngologists Eric Bergson, MD; Joseph Bonafede, MD; Todd Campbell, MD; Robert Gargano, MD; Rob Gottlieb, MD; Edward Lipinsky, MD; Thomas O’Donnell, MD; and Anna Stern, MD. Dr. Helfner is currently finishing a fellowship in pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology at Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. She has conducted research in numerous aspects of the field, including drug allergy, metal hypersensitivity, asthma, and immune deficiencies, and has published and presented her research at numerous national meetings. “Having a skilled and superbly trained physician like Laura Helfner become part of our team in Hauppauge will be of huge value to our patients,” noted Dr. Robert Gargano, an ENTA partner in that office. “She will be the perfect complement to the vast array of services we offer our patients. We welcome her aboard with open arms.”
“Adding Laura Helfner to our clinical team is a win for us, and more importantly, a win for the folks of Suffolk County,” noted Dr. Edward Lipinsky. “Her expertise will most certainly allow us to provide our patients with even more access to specialized allergy and immunology care.”
