Tarrytown, NY – March 6, 2018: ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) offers Brooklyn residents three separate full service clinical locations-each staffed with the finest otolaryngology specialists and sub-specialists-so it can optimally serve the needs of that important borough’s deserving patients.
And today, the nation’s preeminent ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology practice announced that Ari J. Goldsmith, M.D., F.A.A.P., an icon in the Brooklyn pediatric medical community-where he has been caring for infants and children for over 25 years-will be joining ENTA’s Bay Ridge West office (located at 9020 Fifth Avenue) as of May 2018.
Dr. Goldsmith received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, then served both his internship and residency at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. He earned his fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology from the Children’s Hospital of Boston and the Harvard Medical School.
Most recently, Dr. Goldsmith served the pediatric population of Brooklyn as Director of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Maimonides Infants and Children’s Hospital. Prior to that, he was the Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Long Island College Hospital. Currently, Dr. Goldsmith is an associate professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He treats a wide variety of conditions including otitis media, sinusitis, upper airway obstructions, tonsillitis, vocal disorders in children, and many more.
He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been consistently recognized by Castle Connolly as one of America’s Best Doctors, and by New York Magazine as one of New York’s Best Doctors, among other accolades. He is the author of numerous publications and presentations.
In ENTA’s state-of-the-art Bay Ridge West office, he will join a roster of renowned colleagues including fellow otolaryngologists Ramez Habib, M.D., F.A.C.S., Anju Patel, M.D., Christopher Song, M.D., F.A.C.S. and allergist Yelena Kopyltsova, M.D.
“Adding Ari Goldsmith to the excellent physician roster already in place in our Bay Ridge West office allows us to provide superior service to even more of the pediatric patients of that neighborhood and its surrounding communities,” noted Robert Green, M.D., President of ENTA. “We couldn’t be more pleased.”
Ramez Habib, M.D., a partner at ENTA’s Bay Ridge office, commented, “Ari Goldsmith has helped shape pediatric otolaryngology in Brooklyn, and has served the families of our borough with excellence for many, many years. My colleagues and I are truly delighted to have him become a member of our team, and are confident our patients will benefit is a huge way.”
Robert Glazer, CEO of ENTA, added, “I have known Dr. Ari Goldsmith for many years. He, like others, has recognized that ENTA is well positioned for the future. He has visited our Clinical and Central Business office operations and witnessed the substantial investments we have made in both clinical and business systems that enable physicians to focus on high quality patient care, but also ensure regulatory compliance and superb customer service. We are thrilled that Dr. Goldsmith is joining ENTA and that he will continue to provide care to his Brooklyn patients."
