It’s Allergy Season, so ENT and Allergy Associates® Springs into Action!
Welcomes Allergist/Immunologist Joon H. Park, M.D. to its Middletown, NY Location
The ice and snow of winter are quickly becoming distant memories and are being replaced by the sunshine and warmth of spring. Oh, did someone forget to mention allergies?
Well, the physicians of ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) never forget allergies, nor the suffering they cause. That’s why the nation’s premier ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology practice, serving patients throughout New York and New Jersey with over 150 physicians and 80+ audiologists in 41 locations, today announced the addition of its newest team member, Allergist/Immunologist Joon H. Park, M.D.
Dr. Park will join ENTA’s Middletown, NY office, located at 75 Crystal Run Road, Building B, Suite 220, Middletown, NY 10941. This new state-of-the-art office became part of ENTA in October, 2013. Dr. Park expects to begin seeing adult and pediatric patients as of August 1, 2014.
Joon H. Park, M.D. graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Biology (with Distinction) from the University of Virginia, then went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from that university’s School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and earned his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY, where he trained under the direct mentorship of several world-renowned allergists and immunologists. During his fellowship, Dr. Park also actively engaged in research focusing on food allergy and primary immunodeficiency, resulting in several publications in highly respected, peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) and Clinical Immunology Society (CIS). Dr. Park joins ENTA after practicing for nearly two years at a multi-specialty practice in Virginia.
In Middletown, Dr. Park joins a stellar physician line up including Otolaryngologists, Drs. Mark Driver, Ofer Jacobowitz, Virginia Feldman, Sergery Koyfman and Phillip Massengill.
“Joon Park will be a great asset for our patients,” remarked Dr. Virginia Feldman, ENT Partner at the Middletown office of ENTA. “Given the constantly increasing need for allergy care in our communities, he couldn’t be arriving at a better time.”
“Allergists throughout our Practice, in New York and New Jersey, work hand-in-hand with our ENT specialists to provide patients with the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical care,” noted Dr. Peter Logalbo, Director of Allergy at ENTA. “This teamwork among physicians results in faster diagnosis and a more comprehensive treatment plan. Patients benefit from this close collaboration, and they deserve no less.”
Robert Glazer, ENTA Chief Executive Officer added, “When we finalized our joinder with the fine physicians in Middletown last year, we envisioned quickly ramping up the resources offered in that location. Adding Dr. Park to the team helps us realize the breadth of services we very much want the residents of Middletown to have at their service. We are delighted to welcome him on board.”
