Robert Glazer, CEO of ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA)-the 41 office/175 physician New York and New Jersey specialty ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology practice, will lead a series of healthcare workshops scheduled to take place at Fordham University, from Oct. 13 through Dec. 8, 2015.
The six part certificate program, entitled “Intensive Experience in Healthcare Innovation,” combines expert instruction by industry leaders with the renowned quality and Jesuit philosophy of Fordham University, the Jesuit University of New York.
Intended to foster a better understanding of the inner workings of the industry for those involved in the industry, or thinking of making a career move to it, the program is being offered by Fordham School of Professional and Continuing Studies, and will include sessions on data analytics, information technology and healthcare policy and regulation, marketing and social media, teambuilding and effective communication, and navigating the healthcare system.
Mr. Glazer has over 35 years of healthcare expertise in finance and operations, information technology, managed care contracting, mergers and acquisitions, physician recruitment and healthcare marketing in the NYC metropolitan area. Under his 18 years of leadership at ENTA, it has grown from a 12 physician/eight office footprint, to its current size and scope, treating over 70,000 patients a month in state-of-the-art clinical facilities located throughout New York and New Jersey.

The workshops, designed to provide real world insights into various aspects of the current healthcare arena, will feature a number of leading healthcare participants and executives including Nancy Block, senior partner at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP; Richard Effman, ENTA’s Director of Marketing; Dr. Moshe Ephrat, physician partner at ENTA; Sean Healy, Vice President of Network Development at the Mount Sinai Hospital; Jason Horowitz, AVP Strategic Ventures at North Shore-LIJ Health System; Larry Miri, president of Truform Media Group; and Christopher J Sclafani, Chief Administrative Officer at the Mt.
