Dr. Blank diagnosed our son's condition after several other doctors couldn't. He relieved our son of a great deal of discomfort. He jokes to make children comfortable but there is never any doubt he is serious about his work.
Dr. Blank has been my son's doctor for 4 years. He started seeing Ryan at age 2 when he developed frequent throat/tonsil issues accompanied by snoring and mouth breathing. Dr. Blank was very informative as to the processes and procedures during different examinations for his hearing (backed up fluid which can cause hearing problems), adenoids and tonsils. Prior to our initial visit his pediatrician prepared me for what a visit to an ENT may consist of so I was able to better explain, prepare and console my son (and myself! Lol) because a scope up the nose is NO fun for any age! Dr. Blank has a great bedside manner and is professional, but also so down to earth. When I talk to him I feel like he's my colleague, in the sense that we are working together to get the best result for his patient and MY son. Throughout subsequent visits he kept me at ease which made me able to keep my little one calm and not sense any anxiousness. He is great with kids. I have recommended him to countless people...kids and adults alike and they all love him and his work. The office has a very clean and professional setting and the support staff is just as nice. Four years later we still see Dr. Blank periodically for check-ups since his T&A surgery. Ryan has no qualms about jumping into that examination chair when we're seeing Dr. Blank!
My six year old son is usually pretty frightened of doctors. However, Dr. Blank immediately put my son at ease when I recently brought him in for a pretty bad ear infection. The doctor's wonderful sense of humor had my boy laughing hysterically and me too for that matter. It's pretty obvious that he has kids of his own. In addition, he's very patient and very thorough. I recommend Dr. Blank to all my friends and family.
My 2 1/2 year old son had a chronic congested nose since about 6 months old along with mouth breathing and excessive drooling! I took him to many doctors/specialist but was never giving a satisfactory diagnosis on his condition. I was recommend to Dr. Blank by his pediatrician and on the first visit after examination he determined my son's adenoids and tonsils were too large. We attempted a course of action before going the surgical route. My son had surgery on 6/05/13 and I must say from start to finish I was very pleased with Dr Blank professionalism and how friendly he was towards my son and how comfortable he made both of us feel throughout the whole process. My son is doing 100% better and I'm so grateful to Dr. Blank.
We originally brought my daughter to see Dr. Blank for a second opinion. She had been suffering from chronic recurrent tonsilitis. He did a thorough, complete history and exam. He patiently answered all of my wife's questions and discussed the different treatment options. My daughter had a flare of her tonsilitis while away at college. Dr. Blank went above and beyond our expectations and worked closely with the doctors up at school to make sure that she was treated appropriately. He is extremely knowledgeable and nice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for anyone needing an ENT doctor.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this MAN!!!! He is the best! Great with kids. Yes its true you have to wait but who cares when you know that at the end you are going to get the best Dr.! Dr. Blank did my husbands surgery deviated septum (Successful of course) and we are very pleased. I think he is funny, you have to understand his sense of humor and if you cant who cares your getting the BEST ENT. My daughter kept making this horrible sound with her throat and now its gone thanks to him. The other good thing is that his staff is so nice!
My son has seen Dr. Blank numerous times, and every appointment couldn't have gone better. I find him to be good with kids, and he knows what's he doing. The nursing staff is excellent, and I definitely recommend him.
Dr. Andrew Blank is the first ENT that I would actually recommend to anyone. He conducted an actual extensive exam on my child. And we know that there are many doctors that cut corners to see as much patients as possible. Dr. Blank's office is not like that. The faculty is very efficient, courteous, and helpful. The times that I have gone there I've not waited more than 5-10 minutes to be seen.
Dr. Blank is great with children and has a great bedside manner with them. My 7 year old daughter was treated by him for recurrent strep and snoring. He recommended minor surgery to remove tonsils and adenoids. We did not listen to the doctor initially being concerned about the procedure. Well a year went by with recurrent strep, we brought her back in. Dr. Blank and he did not say I told you so, but rather, explained how in certain cases the procedure is unavoidable unless you can stand by while the child gets sick throughout their adolescence. Surgery went smooth and Dr. Blank was great.
Dr. Andrew Blank is by far the best doctor I could ever have asked for. I've been his patient since 11 months old. Not only did he treat me phenomenally for 15 years, but he also provided the same care to my father as well. He completed three surgeries on my ears and removed my tonsils and adenoids. Speaking from first hand experience he is great with children. He cracks many jokes, which always puts a smile on my face. He's just such a jolly person in general. All his patients that I have encountered throughout my various years as his patient love him as well. I have never felt mistreated for Dr. Blank. Although there were sometimes extensive wait time to be seen, he always provided me with the best care from the moment he walked in till the moment that he walked out. He and his physician assistant, Trish, make an unstoppable team. Trish is one of the most sweetest, most down-to-earth, funniest assitants ever. Overall, Dr. Blank is an amazing doctor. I always look forward to my next appointment to see him and joke around. Honestly, I just don't know what i would do without him. So if you are looking for a ENT specialist I strongly suggest him, you won't regret it.
Dr. Blank is patient and has a great bed side manner. I'm grateful how he puts my daughter at ease while checking her. I have recommended Dr. Blank to several friends.
Dr. Blank has a wonderful bedside manner with kids! He makes the kids feel comfortable and laugh. He also takes the time to explain things to the parents. He is thorough, deliberate and thoughtful in his approach to problems and will adjust his approach based on what is needed at the time, so sometimes he takes a "wait and see" approach and sometimes he takes a more "aggressive" approach. His assistant is terrific! I would highly recommend Dr. Blank to anyone looking for an ENT.
Dr. Blank is a very seriously hardworking professional. Since he has been treating my son, in the past two years, I have found him to be the best of all ENT doctors. I can recommend him to anybody anytime. The staff members are also very good.
He is the best ENT doctor in New York. He has been treating my son for the past two years and he is doing an excellent job. He knows how to make treating a child easy while making a joke. My son loves going for his appointment. He is also a very good surgeon.
Dr. Blank has treated both my children and my Mom for various throat ailments over the years and has always been extraordinarily kind, caring and professional. He is a superb doctor and diagnostician who also has a special gift for treating and interacting with children. Beyond just handling routine ENT matters, he treated my daughter's broken nose on an emergency basis, spending substantial time with us both over the phone and in his office and helping us find a surgeon in Manhattan affiliated with his ENT & Allergy Associates Group. I highly recommend him and his practice.
Both myself and my son have seen Dr Blank. I had previously seen several ENT's regarding problems I was having with my ear and got no answers. Dr Blank completed his exam and correctly diagnosed and treated the rare disorder that I have. All an all he's a great doctor. Wait time can be a bit long but he knows what he's doing.
I have had visits with Dr. Blank on two different occasions. The office space is child-friendly as there are toys and trinkets for the little ones to play with and a TV for them too! The office staff was professional and courteous and so was Dr. Blank. I must admit that on my first visit, we waited a long time. It was during the post-work evening rush. However, for the second visit, I was in by 8:30am and out by around 9:30am. Dr. Blank had examined both me and my 2-year old son. My two year old had a hearing test done during this visit as well. I think the wait time depends on the time of day you book. But one thing is for sure....no matter what time of day I visited, I was greeted by a professional office staff and doctor and a child-friendly and clean environment. Dr. Blanks practice is A-ok with me. I recommend.:-)
Dr. Blank was very easy to talk. He is very knowledgeable and very thorough. My husband and I were very pleased with the way he treated our four year old son. He is now our family ENT. We highly recommend him.
My son has been a patient with Dr. Blank for over 4 years now and I must say that my son has never been more excited to visit a doctor's since meeting him. His personality and character shines through with every visit. As soon as his assistant see's my son, she greets him with a big hug and Dr. Blank jokes with him and makes both of us laugh. He's great with kids. My son suffered minor hearing loss which went unnoticed for over a year, Dr. Blank was very thorough and comforting throughout the whole ordeal and follows up to make sure my son is on the right track. I couldn't have been more happy to hear my son speak a full sentence only a day after his procedure, using words I had no idea he knew. I was able to communicate with my child and I owe that to Dr. Blank.
Being an RN and working with medically fragile population, I am gladly recommending Dr. Blank to others who seek excellent medical care, accurate diagnosis and treatment, easy access, thoughtfulness, professionalism and respect in response to pt's questions and concerns. We are proud to have this MD in NY.
Dr. Blank and his staff have provided unbelievable flawless service. His staf is attentive, punctual and professional. They have a genuine smile when greeting patients. Dr. Blank was attentive, funny, thoroughly informative even though he had a full schedule. Dr. Blank took the time to perform each procedure completely. My colleague recommended Dr. Blank.I could have not gotten a better doctor. Dr. Blank is a keeper!
Dr. Blank is very attentive and spends as much time as needed to evaluate a patient. His staff coordinates care very well.
Dr. Blank removed my daughter’s tonsils and adenoids. I was extremely pleased from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable and everything he said would happen, happened exactly how he said. The staff at Day-Op was amazing! They made the whole experience not only pleasant for my daughter, but for me as well. I needed that!
DR. BLANK IS A WONDERFUL AND CARING PERSON. HE MAKE THE PATIENT VERY COMFORTABLE AND NOT SO AFRAID. HE TAKES HIS TIME. THE STAFF IS VERY COURTESY AND POLITE.
