Tarrytown, NY—July 26th, 2016: According to expert clinical and medical organizations and a number of recent studies, the incidence of asthma and both seasonal and food allergies continues to rise in the United States. And while there are varied theories as to why, the fact remains that the increasing number of patients suffering from these conditions must be able to find expert medical care.
With this in mind, ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA)-the largest ear, nose, throat, audiology and allergy practice in the nation, with 40+ clinical offices serving patients in communities throughout New York and New Jersey-proudly announced that Dr. Ryan Steele will join ENTA’s roster of superb Allergists/Immunologist, effective August 9th, 2016.
ENTA’s 180 board certified physicians include 32 allergists, who work hand in hand with their otolaryngologist colleagues to offer patients the most comprehensive state-of-the-art care possible.
Dr. Ryan Steele earned his Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, then completed his MS degree in Immunology from Long Island University, and conducted his thesis research at SUNY Downstate. He received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Steele went on to complete his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Winthrop-University Hospital in New York. Prior to going into private practice, Dr. Steele conducted post-graduate research on therapeutic drug development in auto-immune and inflammatory diseases at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. Dr. Steele treats adult and pediatric patients suffering from a full range of allergic and immunologic diseases, and has special expertise in angioedema, urticaria, drug allergy, and immunodeficiency. Dr. Steele is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).
"Given our patients’ growing need for the finest allergy care possible, we are particularly delighted to have Ryan Steele join us at this time," noted Robert Green, MD, President of ENTA. "Dr. Steele is exactly the kind of superb physician we at ENTA always seek for our patients’ benefit, and our own.”
Added Peter Logalbo, MD, Director of the Allergy Division at ENTA, “We are proud to add Dr. Steele to our roster of Board Certified allergists here at ENT and Allergy Associates. His clinical acumen, skills and experience enable us to continue to provide the highest level of care to an even greater number of patients, and we welcome him aboard.”
Robert Glazer, ENTA's Chief Executive Officer, commented, “Dr. Steele is a perfect example of the type of superb physician we select to join our Practice.
