COVID-19 UPDATE: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning from states with increasing rates of COVID-19  are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. The current list of states, which will be updated regularly, can be found at NY.Gov and NJ.Gov. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation. If you have traveled to one of these states and have stayed longer than 24 hours, we kindly request you self-quarantine at home for 14 days prior to coming into the office. Deborah Himel, ScD, CCC-A ENTA

Deborah Himel, Sc.D., earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Drew University in 2000.  She completed her Doctor of Science in Audiology at Seton Hall University in 2008. 

Dr. Himel has as over 10 years of experience in audiological evaluations with all age groups.  She has worked at ENT and neurological practices and most recently with the Veterans Administration.  She specializes in fitting advanced technology digital hearing aids, electrophysiological testing, and balance assessment.   Dr. Himel is a licensed hearing aid dispenser in the State of New Jersey, and is member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. 

Dr. Himel joined ENT and Allergy Associates in August 2015 as a clinical audiologist.
