COVID-19 UPDATE: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning from states with increasing rates of COVID-19  are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. The current list of states, which will be updated regularly, can be found at NY.Gov and NJ.Gov. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation. If you have traveled to one of these states and have stayed longer than 24 hours, we kindly request you self-quarantine at home for 14 days prior to coming into the office. Ilene Shapiro, MA, CCC-A ENTA

Ilene Shapiro earned her Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Science and her Masters degree in Audiology at Lehman College in 1991. After training at the Bronx VA Hospital and The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, she received her New York State License in 1993.

After training at the Bronx VA Hospital and The New York Eye and Ear infirmary, she earned her NY Audiology license in 1993. Mrs. Shapiro holds an NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing license.

Ms. Shapiro was an Audiologist at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary for 8 years. She joined ENTA in 2001. She specializes in hearing aid dispensing and diagnostic testing to patients of all ages, including difficult to test populations. As a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, Ms. Shapiro keeps up to date with current trends and technologies in the field.
