COVID-19 UPDATE: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning from states with increasing rates of COVID-19  are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. The current list of states, which will be updated regularly, can be found at NY.Gov and NJ.Gov. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation. If you have traveled to one of these states and have stayed longer than 24 hours, we kindly request you self-quarantine at home for 14 days prior to coming into the office. Rufina Eframi, Au.D., CCC-A ENTA

Dr. Rufina Eframi earned her Doctor of Audiology Degree in 2018 from the Long Island Audiology Consortium, consisting of Adelphi, Hofstra and St. John’s Universities. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from St. John’s University in 2014.

‚ÄčDr. Eframi completed extensive clinical rotations at Staten Island University Hospital-Northwell Health, Lexington School for the Deaf and the Center for Hearing and Communication. She completed her clinical residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center-University Physicians of Brooklyn.

She is a New York and New Jersey State Licensed Audiologist and a New York State Hearing Aid Dispenser. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Dr. Eframi’s area of expertise include adult and pediatric comprehensive audiological evaluations, vestibular assessment, electrophysiological testing, and hearing aid technology.
