About Jing Shen, MD
Jing Shen, M.D., was born and grew up in Shanghai, China. She moved to Texas in 1992 with her family. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with high honors in biochemistry and molecular biology. She then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and graduated with AOA honors.
In June 2007, Dr. Shen completed her Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Upon completing her residency program, she was invited to join the faculty of the Department of Otolaryngology at UTMB. She joined Houston ENT in 2009. She is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Shen is interested in all pediatric and adult otolaryngology aspects, including allergy, sinus disease, hearing loss, thyroid/parathyroid, and parotid disease.
