About Michael Katz, MD
Dr. Michael Katz is a highly experienced otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, joining ENT & Allergy Associates with a distinguished background in treating both adult and pediatric patients. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where he also completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency, serving as Chief Resident.
Board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Katz is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has over two decades of clinical experience in Bergen County, specializing in chronic sinus disease, nasal polyps, and performing advanced functional endoscopic sinus surgery with stereotactic image guidance.
Dr. Katz also is proficient in ultrasound examinations of the head and neck, performing ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration biopsies of thyroid nodules, as well as thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. He treats middle ear pathology and performs innovative procedures such as CO2 laser stapedotomy for otosclerosis.

Outside of his professional practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and piano.
