About Oliver Chin , MD

Oliver Y. Chin, M.D. is originally from New Jersey and moved to Houston, Texas, with his wife after completing their medical training. 

Dr. Chin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University in 2012, where he earned his degree in Cell Biology, Neuroscience, and Psychology. He went on to receive his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2016, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in recognition of his academic excellence.

Following medical school, Dr. Chin completed his residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California in 2021. 

Dr. Chin's practice includes comprehensive otolaryngology for adults and children. He also has a focus on the medical and surgical treatment of ear diseases. He strives to treat every patient as he would a member of his own family—taking time to listen, connect personally, and provide compassionate, individualized care while following clinical practice guidelines and practicing evidence-based medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Chin enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children and exploring the outdoors through activities such as rock climbing and hiking. He loves the city’s rich cultural diversity and vibrant food scene, which have made Houston feel like home for him and his family.
