About Rachel Combs, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Rachel Combs, Au.D, earned her Doctorate in Audiology from The City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center in June 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, awarded in May 2020.
Dr. Combs began her clinical exposure, interning for Audiology of Nassau County. She then began her in-house clinical rotations at the CUNY Graduate Center, Hunter College, and Brooklyn College campuses. Dr. Combs went on to complete externship rotations at Strivright Auditory Oral School of New York and Northwell Health Physician Partners at Lenox Hill. She completed her fourth-year residency at Northwell Health Hearing and Speech Center at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Combs has a diverse set of experience working with pediatric, adult, and special needs populations in both diagnostic audiology and hearing loss management. Dr. Combs is a New York State licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser as well as a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
