About Seyma Yalcinkaya, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Seyma Yalcinkaya is a Texas-licensed audiologist and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She also maintains an Annual Practising Certificate (APC) in New Zealand and is a member of the New Zealand Audiological Society (MNZAS). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Audiology from Istanbul Medipol University in Turkey before completing her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., where she gained advanced clinical experience, learned American Sign Language (ASL), and developed a deep appreciation for Deaf culture and accessible, patient-centered communication.

Before joining our team, Dr. Yalcinkaya gained clinical experience in Turkey, New Zealand, and the United States. Her international background has shaped her commitment to providing individualized care for patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds while helping them achieve their hearing and communication goals.

Dr. Yalcinkaya's clinical interests include hearing aid technology, tinnitus management, diagnostic audiology, and vestibular assessment. Having experienced tinnitus herself, she understands the challenges it can bring and is passionate about helping patients find effective, evidence-based management strategies to improve their quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Yalcinkaya is passionate about tinnitus education and advocacy. She creates educational content on social media to increase awareness of tinnitus and evidence-based management strategies and is the author of Living with Tinnitus: A Guide to Relief and Understanding. She enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures around the world.
