About Sharon Gruboy, Au.D.
Dr. Sharon Gruboy, Au.D. earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from Rush University in Chicago in 2025 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2020.
Dr. Gruboy completed her residency at Weill Cornell Medicine, where training focused on diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, emphasizing pediatric care as well as cochlear implant evaluations and management for both adult and pediatric patients. Additional training included Northwest Speech and Hearing in Arlington Heights, IL, Chicago Hearing Society, and the University of Illinois at Chicago. These experiences provided Dr. Gruboy with a comprehensive foundation in evaluating and managing a wide range of hearing and balance disorders.
Dr. Gruboy is skilled in performing audiological, electrophysiological, and vestibular evaluations. Clinical interests include pediatrics, electrophysiological testing, diagnostic assessment, and the fitting and management of hearing aids and other amplification technologies.
Dr. Gruboy is licensed to practice audiology in both New Jersey and New York and is also a licensed hearing aid dispenser in New York.
