ENT and Allergy Associates signs its newest physician in Staten Island

ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is pleased to announce the addition of Shawn C. Ciecko, M.D., otolaryngologist, who joins ENTA out of his residency at the Duke University Medical Center. This is the latest of recent additions for the practice, which will now consist of 87 physicians in 30 office locations. Dr. Ciecko will begin practicing in ENTA’s Staten Island office on August 1, 2009, following the completion of his residency program.

Wayne Eisman, M.D., President of ENT and Allergy Associates remarked, “Dr. Ciecko will complete a rigorous training program at the Duke University Medical Center, one of the most prestigious programs in the United States. The group has continued to be able to attract the best and the brightest otolaryngologists to our practice.”

Dr. Ciecko graduated from the University of Rochester and attended the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed both internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Ciecko was chief resident at Duke from 2007 to 2009. His interests are in adult and pediatric ENT, sinus disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, head and neck cancer/endocrine surgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

The 30 offices of ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP have a clinical alliance with the Mount Sinai Medical Center for the treatment of diseases of the head and neck.
