Tarrytown, NY – ENT and Allergy Associates LLP (ENTA) is pleased to announce that Dr. Zarina S. Sayeed, otolaryngologist, has joined ENTA from her residency at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Sayeed is the latest addition to the Practice-the largest and most comprehensive in the United States, with 103 physicians, which includes 17 allergists, as well as 56 licensed audiologists in 32 office locations throughout New York and New Jersey. The Practice also employs 450 additional clinical and support staff.
Dr. Sayeed will begin practicing in ENTA’s new Edison and Old Bridge offices on or about February 1, 2010.
Her arrival follows on the heels of ENTA’s continued expansion into New Jersey. The newly opened Edison and Old Bridge offices join ENTA practice sites in Somerville and Hoboken-opened last year-as well as those in Parsippany, Wayne, Englewood, Hackensack, Oradell and Mahwah.
In Edison, Dr. Sayeed will be joining Drs. Gerald Fenster and Kenneth Kunzman. In Old Bridge, she will share offices with Dr. Adrianna Hekiert.
ENTA is currently looking to recruit two additional sub-specialists in those offices in order to provide patients with fully staffed facilities in both Edison and Old Bridge.
Dr. Sayeed, who is conversant in both Hindi and Spanish, was accepted into the prestigious 6 year BSMD program at the University of Miami, and received her degree from University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed both her internship in General Surgery, and her residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she was chief resident from 2008 to 2009. Her areas of expertise are in adult and pediatric ENT, sinus disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, head and neck disease, and disorders of the thyroid/parathyroid.
Wayne Eisman, M.D., President of ENT and Allergy Associates remarked, “We are delighted that Dr. Sayeed has agreed to join our ranks. Her rigorous training at Downstate Medical Center--where she was chief resident--will make her a valuable asset to patients, and is wholly consistent with our Practice’s continuing commitment to a mission of bringing the best and the brightest physicians into our group.”
The ENTA physicians in Edison and Old Bridge have and/or will be seeking privileges at nearby JFK and Raritan Bay (Old Bridge division) Medical Centers.
The 32 offices of ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP have a clinical alliance with the Mount Sinai Medical Center for the treatment of diseases of the head and neck, and maintain a corporate partnership with the American Cancer Society for the navigation of patients with smoking disorders and cancers.
