ENT and Allergy Associates® Goes Long Term on Long Island Signs 15 Year Lease for Brand New, Expansive Clinical Office in Port Jefferson
Tarrytown, NY: October 13th– ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is the nation’s premier ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology practice, with forty one offices providing unparalleled medical care to patients in New York and New Jersey in nineteen counties. And now it is making an even broader and deeper commitment to Suffolk County, NY. Today, the otolaryngology and allergy group announced it has reached agreement on a long term lease and construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art 10,146+ square foot facility in Port Jefferson, NY.
ENTA, with 160+ board certified otolaryngologists, neurotologists, laryngologists, rhinologists, allergists/immunologists and 85 licensed audiologists, signed the tenancy agreement with landlord M & R Stony Brook, INC, with an opening anticipated by summer, 2015. At that time, ENTA will relocate its existing Port Jefferson office (currently at 251 East Oakland Avenue) to the new clinical space at 1500 Route 112, Building #4, 2nd Floor, Port Jefferson, NY 11776. This new location will join the Practice’s other Suffolk County offices, in Patchogue, Riverhead and Southampton.
Importantly, this move allows the Practice’s physicians and other medical professionals to serve their patients’ needs with the expanded benefit of 13 technologically advanced exam rooms, 3 audiology booths, a complete hearing aid dispensary, a full complement of allergy exam rooms for on-site testing and injections, and many other advantages.
In fact, the move adds sufficient extra clinical capacity to allow ENTA to begin recruiting for an additional otolaryngologist at that site.

Along with Dr. Litman, those making the move to the new location include current ENTA otolaryngologists William Sher, MD, FACS; Lee Shangold, MD, FACS (Adult and Pediatric Sleep Specialist); Lauren Zaretsky, MD, FACS; John Sugrue, MD, FACS; Ajay Chitkara, MD, FACS (Fellowship trained Laryngologist); and Craig Litman, MD, FACS.
In addition, the office’s most recent member-board certified Allergist/Immunologist Jennifer Diaz, MD-will also make the move. Dr. Diaz has experience and expertise treating both adults and children suffering a wide range of allergic conditions, ranging from asthma and allergic rhinitis to food allergy and atopic dermatitis. She is proficient in epidermal and intradermal allergen testing, food challenges, drug desensitization, as well as immunotherapy preparation and administration.
The Audiology department will also be making the move, as will the superior clinical and operational staff that has been responsible for helping to create a superb patient experience, from reception area to exam room.
The Port Jefferson relocation follows on the heels of ENTA’s most recent Suffolk County expansion, in Southampton NY.
