ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP® Adds Resources to its Human Resources Department
Welcomes Eric M. Saidel, JD as its New HR Director
Tarrytown, NY: November 11, 2013- With approximately 900 employees, including physicians, clinicians and staff in its ranks, ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is not only the largest Ear, Nose, Throat, Allergy, and Audiology Practice in the nation, it is also one that requires excellence in every aspect of its management corps in order to continue to both innovate and blend various expertise into a single successful medical enterprise.
With that in mind, today ENTA proudly announced that it has hired Eric M. Saidel, JD, to serve as its new Director of Human Resources. Mr. Saidel will join the Practice-comprised of 40 New York and New Jersey clinical offices where 140+ physicians and 85+ certified audiologists service 60,000 patients a month-as of November 18th, 2013. He replaces former Director Linda Spero who, after 16 years of superb service, will begin enjoying her well-deserved retirement.
Mr. Saidel brings with him the perfect combination of legal training, human resources expertise, and consulting experience, all needed to succeed in the complex role of managing the challenges of such an enormous workforce.
He received his BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, then pursued and earned a Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University). He began his legal career as a Law Clerk, then became an associate attorney in Westchester County, NY, and moved on to become a partner of Saidel and Saidel, PC in Yorktown Heights, NY. He was also employed as a Vice President of Harper Ross, LLC. Then, from 2007-2012, Mr. Saidel moved on to Easton Associates, LLC; first as a Senior Associate Consultant and then as Director of Human Resources, where he was responsible for all HR functions in offices in New York, London, and Beijing. Most recently, after Easton was acquired by Navigant Consulting,LLC, he served as a Senior Consultant in Navigant’s Life Sciences Practice, where his responsibilities included overseeing and managing the consolidation of recruiting efforts, developing a forward-looking recruiting and capacity plan, creating and implementing a modified year-end performance evaluation process for Easton-legacy employees and developing the business case for a new Life Sciences Talent Acquisition Professional position.
“Eric Saidel is exactly the kind of professional we need to continue to help move our Practice forward,” remarked Aviah Cohen Pierson, JD, General Counsel and Senior Director of Human Resources. “His unique combination of interwoven disciplines-from legal to human resources-will yield the right type of forward thinking. We look forward to welcoming him on board.”
Added Robert Glazer, CEO of ENTA, “Replacing Linda Spero wasn’t easy, but I firmly believe we have found the right person for the job. Identifying greater and more efficient solutions to our challenges will be one of Eric’s prime objectives.”
