The Practice Welcomes Otolaryngologist Denny Varughese, M.D. to its Wayne, NJ Location
Tarrytown, NY – ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) recognizes that one of the greatest assets driving its year-over-year growth and success is the recruitment of physicians who are graduating from the most prestigious residency and fellowship programs across the country. Dr. Denny Varughese, who is the latest recruit to join the group's 220+ board certified physicians, will begin to practice at ENTA’s Wayne, NJ office effective July 2021.
The addition of Dr. Varughese will further enhance the Wayne office’s esteemed reputation and continue its evolutionary surge toward the future of healthcare.
Denny Varughese, MD, graduated cum laude from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers-NJMS where he was well-regarded as a physician and leader. Ranking among the top of his class, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He was then awarded the SUNY Downstate Research Alumni Fellowship in 2013. In 2016, he was awarded the Merck Award for Academic Excellence from Downstate College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Varughese is also an author of numerous peer-reviewed research publications on topics ranging from endoscopic sinus surgery to head and neck cancer.
In the Wayne office of ENTA, he will join a renowned roster of physicians including Otolaryngologists Vito Brunetti, MD, FACS; John Cece, MD, FACS; Sujana Chandrasekhar, MD, FACS; Michael D’Anton, MD; John J. Scheibelhoffer, MD, FACS; Daniel A. Scher, MD; Dhar Sreepada, MD; and Allergist/Immunologist Theresa Sohn, MD.
