ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP® Has the Best Kind of Allergic Reaction to the Needs of Morris County, NJ
Hires New Fulltime Allergist, Archana Mehta, MD at its Parsippany, NJ Location
Tarrytown, NY—May 21st, 2013: ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is the most comprehensive single specialty practice in the tri-state area for one very simple reason…it offers its deserving patients an unprecedented and unparalleled breadth of related services throughout the hundreds of New York and New Jersey neighborhoods in which its 39 clinical sites are located. These services range from audiology/hearing aid dispensing to facial plastic surgery, from sleep studies to voice and swallowing.
However, ENT and Allergy ‘made its name’ by offering a uniquely seamless partnership between its ENTs (Otolaryngologists) and its Allergists. These two fields of medicine serve as the underpinning for all offered services, and each ENTA clinical location has at least one Allergist who works directly alongside the office’s Otolaryngologists to provide patients the latest allergy testing and treatments as well as Asthma and Immunology care.
As would be expected, ENTA makes sure to identify and employ only the most talented and capable physicians with which to satisfy the allergy needs in each of its New York and New Jersey locations. That is why, effective August 15th, 2013, Dr. Archana Mehta will be joining ENTA’s Parsippany office at 3219 Route 46 East, Suite 203, Parsippany, NJ 07054 as the full-time Allergist. Dr. Mehta will work alongside ENTA’s superb existing roster of Parsippany physicians, including Otolaryngologists Charles Schultz, MD; Karen Wirtshafter, MD, FACS; Brian Lebovitz, MD, FACS; and Zarina Sayeed, MD; as well as Audiologists April Ferise, Au.D., F-AAA and Jessica Krzysik, Au.D, F-AAA. This office serves the needs of patients not only in Morris County, NJ, but also Union and Essex Counties.
"Recruiting the finest medical practitioners possible is the lifeblood of our Practice", noted Wayne Eisman, MD, President of ENTA, "and I am confident Dr. Mehta is exactly what we need, and our patients deserve".
Archana Mehta, MD received both her BS in Biology and her Medical Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA, which is a combined 8 year guaranteed medical program. At VCU, she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to complete her Pediatric Residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center in NYC. She will complete her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University/Alfred I. duPont Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE, where she is Chief Fellow, prior to joining ENTA in August. Dr. Mehta has authored numerous publications on the subject of Allergy and Immunology and has also conducted research on Immunology in Children. She has given lectures at various hospitals as well. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of both the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Her interests include allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, food allergy, asthma and atopic dermatitis.
“As both a longtime physician and resident of Morris County, I know that our ever-growing communities deserve the best medical care available,” commented Dr. Charles Schultz, partner at the Parsippany office. “That’s what my colleagues and I deliver to our patients with ear, nose, and throat needs, and I am certain that is exactly what a terrific physician like Dr. Mehta will be offering to those of our patients with Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology needs.”
Added his partner, Dr. Karen Wirtshafter, “Allergy treatments account for a sizable component of how we at ENT and Allergy Associates help patients, so a fresh young fellowship trained physician like Archana-already acclimated to state-of-the-art techniques and technologies-will be a welcome addition to our Practice. I am confident she will do us proud!”
