Tarrytown, NY—June 27 , 2017: ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is relentless in fulfilling its mission to deliver the finest medical care possible to all who need it throughout New York and New Jersey.  And the Upper West Side of Manhattan is no exception.

To help achieve that goal, the nation’s preeminent ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology specialty and sub-specialty practice recently expanded and upgraded its office, located at 620 Columbus Avenue, to an impressive 4,900 SF of cutting edge clinical workspace.

And today, ENTA proudly announced that Joseph Haddad, Jr., M.D., a physician of unparalleled experience and expertise, will join the existing team of superb clinicians in September, 2017.

Joseph Haddad, Jr., M.D. is a board-certified and Fellowship trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist who received his B.A., cum laude, from Wesleyan University, and went on to earn his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. He trained in general surgery and otolaryngology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and completed a two-year NIH-sponsored fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital, University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Haddad’s accolades are numerous.  He was recognized as one of the best Pediatric Otolaryngologists in New York by New York Magazine from 1991 to 2016, and one of America’s Top Doctors, from 2003 to 2017. He is the recipient of a number of awards and has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, reviews and textbook chapters, and served as the principal investigator for several significant research projects, including his present research on the genetics of cleft lip and palate.

Dr. Haddad joins ENTA after serving as Founding Director of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian. He also served as Professor and Vice Chairman, Department of Otolaryngology at Columbia University Medical Center.

At ENTA’s West Side office, Dr. Haddad will offer ENT services to both pediatric and young adult patients. He joins an extraordinary team of physicians including Otolaryngologists Michael Shohet, MD, FACS, Eric J. Cohen, MD, Gary S. Fishman, MD, FACS; Natasha Keenan, MD; Hector P. Rodriguez, MD; and Allergist/Immunologist Payel Gupta, MD.

“The addition of a clinician of Joseph Haddad’s caliber is fantastic news for the patients of our many neighboring communities,” noted Dr. Michael Shohet. “His skill and expertise will serve our patients well.”

Added Dr. Eric Cohen, fellow West Side ENTA physician, “The Upper West Side is a thriving and ever-growing community.  In order for us to keep up with the increasing medical needs of our deserving constituents, it is incumbent upon us to make sure we are staffed with the finest clinical professionals possible. Dr. Haddad suits that to a tee, and I greatly look forward to serving with him.”

Robert Glazer, ENTA’s CEO, commented “We most recently expanded our West Side office to accommodate the growing patient population in that area. The Upper West Side is very family friendly and the addition of Dr. Haddad not only increases the scope of our ENT practice, but as importantly, provides depth and breadth to that office. Joseph Haddad’s track record is superb and his credentials are admirable.  He is exactly the right fit for ENTA in Manhattan.”
