ENT and Allergy Associates® Further Bolsters its Healthcare Expertise in Westchester County
Welcomes Board Certified Allergist/Immunologist Yelena Kopyltsova, MD to its Purchase and Tuckahoe Locations
Tarrytown, NY— (September 29, 2015) ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) serves its patients’ needs by offering a uniquely seamless partnership between ENTs (Otolaryngologists) and Allergists. In fact, these two closely related fields of medicine are represented in each of ENTA's 41 state-of-the-art clinical locations, where at least one board certified Allergist works side by side with the office’s Otolaryngologists to provide the most effective and efficient testing and treatment.
Consistent with that goal, today ENTA proudly announced that board certified Allergist/Immunologist Dr. Yelena Kopyltsova has agreed to join the Practice's Purchase office and Tuckahoe office effective October 15th, 2015.
In Purchase, located at 3020 Westchester Avenue, Suite 303, Dr. Kopyltsova will be joining otolaryngologists Jeffrey Jablon, MD, FACS; David Lawrence, MD, FACS; Irene Yu, MD; Alexis Jackman MD, FACS; and Paul Gittelman MD, FACS.
In Tuckahoe, located at 1 Elm Street, she will work alongside otolaryngologists Jeffrey Cousin, MD; Mark Fox, MD, FACS; and Joshua Weissman, MD.
Dr. Yelena Kopyltsova received her BA in Psychology from New York University, then completed her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. She served her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue and Langone Medical Centers. Dr. Kopyltsova served as a clinical instructor at Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Center prior to completing her fellowship in allergy and immunology at North Shore LIJ Medical Center.
Dr. Kopyltsova has presented at both national and international meetings, and has been published in major peer reviewed journals on the subject of allergy and immunology, including the Journal of Clinical Allergy and Immunology: In practice and Annals of Allergy and Immunology.
She is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the New York Allergy and Asthma Society.
Dr. Kopyltsova serves both pediatric and adult patients for a range of allergic conditions, such as environmental and pet allergies, food allergies, urticaria and angioedema. She treats patients with allergic asthma, atopic and contact dermatitis,drug allergies and performs epicutaneous and intradermal skin testing, pulmonary functions testing, as well as penicillin testing. She is also qualified to do food challenges, drug desensitizations, and handle all aspects of immunotherapy.
