ENT and Allergy Associates® Moves to the Hamptons This Summer Adds Five Doctor East End Group

Enhancing overall ENTA Presence on Long Island

Tarrytown, NY – April 28, 2011.  ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) today announced a significant expansion of its growing presence on Long Island, through a merger with Suffolk County based Peconic Ear, Nose, Throat & Facial Plastic Surgery P.C. The merger becomes effective on July 1st, 2011.

The result will be a brand new ENTA office at 292 Shade Tree Lane in Aquebogue, NY, a second location at 300 Pantigo Place in East Hampton, NY and a third location at 365 County Road 39-A in Southampton, NY. These three offices will serve both the residents of New York’s East End as well as those current ENTA patients who vacation in the Hamptons.  In addition, these new offices will complement ENTA’s current Long Island locations, in Nassau County’s Garden City and Lake Success, bringing the Practice's overall total to over 125 physicians across 38 clinical office locations.

Five physicians from Peconic ENT will join ENTA — otolaryngologists Drs. Kevin Braat, Paul J. Davey, Paul E. Kelly, Eric T. Scarbrough and Allergist and Immunologist, Erin Elizabeth McGintee.

Dr. Kevin Braat is a native Long Islander who has been living and practicing on the East End since 2000. He is a past Medical Staff President and member of the Board of Trustees of Peconic Bay Medical Center as well as a past Physician of the Year at Peconic Bay Medical Center. 

Dr. Braat is also affiliated with Southampton Hospital, Eastern Long Island Hospital and the Suffolk Surgery Center. He trained at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Medical School, with additional pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Braat’s further post-graduate training was in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disorders. He practices general otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat) with a special interest in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Sinus/Allergy conditions and Head & Neck Surgery. He is also a board member of the East End Health Alliance Physician-Hospital Organization.

Dr. Paul J. Davey, a Board Certified Otolaryngologist (ENT specialist) with advance training in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and sinus disorders, also has vast experience and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck.

Dr. Davey has been practicing on the East End of Long Island since 1995, following a commission as Chief of Otolaryngology in the US Army. His current hospital affiliations are with Southampton Hospital and Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. Dr. Davey practices general otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat) with a special interest in Pediatric Otolaryngology, Sinus/Allergy conditions and Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. Eric T. Scarbrough, a Board certified Otolaryngologist with training received at top medical institutions, believes in a team oriented approach to health care, where specialists and primary care doctors work together with patients to formulate the best treatment plan for the individual. Dr. Scarbrough practices general ENT, with specific interests in pediatrics, sinus and nasal diseases, and

Dr. Paul E. Kelly has been making a difference in peoples lives for the over 18 years, performing Surgical Procedures, Injectable Fillers and Botox, and dispensing Skin Care Products.  He helps his patients put their best face forward with confidence and well being.

His training and Board Certifications are in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and listens intently to the whole person and educates each patient to guide them in selecting their best personalized course of action

Dr. Erin Elizabeth McGintee is a native of East Hampton, obtaining her medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, (where she was a member of the AOA Medical Honor Society). She received her pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and following residency Dr. McGintee pursued a three-year fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, with adult cross training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in both pediatrics and allergy and immunology, Dr. McGintee practices both adult and pediatric allergy and clinical immunology, with specific interests including asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis/sinusitis.
