ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is once again proud to announce it latest physicians to join the group — Adriana M. Hekiert, M.D. and Harrison J. Glassman, M.D., otolaryngologists. Hekiert will complete her residency next summer and will join the practice from the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Glassman joins ENTA having completed his residency from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey (UMDNJ). The two physicians will begin practicing next summer on August 1, 2009, bringing the total number of physicians in the practice to 95 across 28 clinical office locations.
Kenneth Kunzman, M.D., a partner in ENTA’s Somerville office commented, “I am very pleased that our group will be able to expand its ability to serve patients in the NJ area. Dr. Hekiert’s training at the University of Pennsylvania will enable our group to expand its rhinology and sinus services.”
“This is a great opportunity for us,” said Stan Yankelowitz, M.D. of ENT and Allergy Associates’ Bronx office. “Increasing our physician presence in the community will help us better care for our patients. Our Bronx community will be better served with the arrival of Harrison Glassman, M.D. Dr Glassman will provide even more access to specialized otology services.”
Dr. Hekiert graduated from the College of Saint Rose in Albany and attended the Albany Medical College. She will have completed both internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She specializes in adult and pediatric ENT, sinus disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, and head and neck surgery. Dr. Hekiert will begin practicing in ENTA’s Somerville office on August 1, 2009, following the completion of her residency program.
Dr. Glassman graduated from the University of Michigan, completed a post baccalaureate medical program at Columbia University and attended the Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Yeshiva University. He completed both internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at UMDNJ. Dr. Glassman will see patients in ENT and Allergy’s Bronx location beginning September 1, 2009,
