ENT & Allergy Associates of Texas Welcomes Fellowship-Trained Rhinologist Karen Bednarski, MD, FARS to Its Katy, Texas Office

Tarrytown, NY –December 1, 2025: ENT & Allergy Associates of Texas (ENTA–TX) today announced that Karen Bednarski, MD, FARS, a board-certified otolaryngologist, and fellowship-trained rhinologist, has joined its Katy, Texas clinical team. Dr. Bednarski will begin seeing adult and pediatric patients on January 2, 2026.

ENTA–TX is part of a multi-state network of more than 475 clinicians practicing across over 80 clinical locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. The practice was recently formed following the integration of Houston ENT & Allergy into the ENT & Allergy Associates network.

In Katy, Dr. Bednarski will serve the needs of patients alongside an elite clinical team, including otolaryngologists Tracy Jakob, MD; Tara Morrison, MD; Michael UnderBrink, MD; and allergist/immunologist Huma Khan, MD.

A graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine with Research Distinction, Dr. Bednarski completed both her residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and surgical internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to complete a prestigious Rhinology Fellowship at the Georgia Nasal and Sinus Institute.

Dr. Bednarski is board certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, with certification valid through 2029. She is fluent in Spanish and German, enabling her to serve the diverse communities of Southeast Texas with enhanced communication and cultural understanding. Her global medical background also includes humanitarian surgical missions in Vietnam and Nicaragua.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bednarski enjoys spending time with her family. Her sons are active in both sports and music, and she loves cooking and baking in her spare time.
