About Maria Franzone, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Maria Franzone graduated Magna Cum Laudewith her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Long Island University-C.W. Post in 2006. She went on to earn her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) in May 2010 from the Long Island Audiology Consortium of Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s Universities.
Dr. Franzone gained clinical experience in various settings beginning with internal clinical rotations at Adelphi University. She went on to external placements at various private practices, a special needs school, andat the VA Hospital in Northport, NY. Dr Franzone completed her fourth-year clinical placement with Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates of NY, prior to coming on as a full-time clinical Audiologist. She has been working in private practice for 13 years prior to joining ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP.
Dr. Franzone holds New York State licenses in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing, as well as the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has experience in comprehensive audiological evaluations for the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations as well as the assessment of the vestibular system. Additionally, she is proficient in the management of hearing loss with hearing aid technology.
