Jillian Escobar, Au.D., CCC-A

Jillian Escobar, Au.D., earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in December 2021 from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Piano Performance from Western Illinois University in 2018. Dr. Escobar completed her audiology residency at ENT and Allergy Associates and, upon completion, joined the ENTA team as a full-time audiologist.
Her varied clinical experiences have provided Dr. Escobar with a wide range of knowledge for diagnostic testing of varying degrees of hearing loss and vestibular disorders, including comprehensive audiological evaluations and videonystagmography testing (VNG). Dr. Escobar’s clinical interests include the adult and geriatric populations, audiologic rehabilitation including management of amplification, and specialized evaluations such as vestibular assessments for dizziness/balance disorders, electrophysiological assessments of the auditory brainstem, and otoacoustic emissions. Dr. Escobar is up to date on the most current hearing aid options available for the treatment of hearing loss.
Dr. Escobar is also passionate about research, and her undergraduate Honors Thesis on musicians, working memory, and speech in noise perception was published in the Ear & Hearing Journal in 2020. Her doctoral capstone research was conducted at Northwestern University’s Auditory Neuroscience Lab and focused on the clinical feasibility of the Frequency Following Response (FFR).
Dr. Escobar is licensed to practice audiology in New York State. She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
