COVID-19 UPDATE: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. The current list of states, which will be updated regularly, can be found at NY.Gov and NJ.Gov. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation. Dennis Chen, M.D. starts with ENTA effective October 1, 2017
Dr. Dennis (Yifeng) Chen is an Allergist-Immunologist who earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Chen was actively involved in research studies highlighting the unmet needs of patients suffering from post-9/11 asthma and allergic diseases in New York City. Consequently, his efforts had earned him M.D. with Research Distinction Award from Stony Brook University Medical Center.
Dr. Chen completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, where he served as a resident leader in various patient quality improvement projects. Dr. Chen went on to specialize in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York. He has conducted research in adult and pediatric allergy-immunology and has presented and published his findings in national specialty meetings and journals, respectively.
Dr. Chen is double Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the New York Allergy and Asthma Society. Dr. Chen treats both adult and pediatric patients for a wide variety of allergic and immunologic disorders such as seasonal allergies, asthma, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, hives and sinusitis. He is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
