COVID-19 UPDATE: Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. The current list of states, which will be updated regularly, can be found at NY.Gov and NJ.Gov. This includes travel by train, bus, car, plane and any other method of transportation. Dr. Payel Gupta, a board certified allergist/immunologist, did her undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, then earned her medical degree at Michigan State University. Her medical education and training continued at the Rush University Medical Center, where she pursued a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Gupta then went on to complete a fellowship program in Allergy and Immunology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She offers patients a full range of medical care including allergy consultations, pediatric allergy consultations, sick child visits and general consultations, treating sinus problems, food intolerance, eczema, rash, hives, and immunodeficiency issues.
Dr. Gupta holds certifications from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of a number of professional organizations including the American College of Allergy and Immunology, the World Allergy Organization, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
