About Amy Lazar, MD

Dr. Amy D. Lazar, a partner at ENT & Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA), has over twenty-five years of experience as an otolaryngologist.  She has helped thousands of patients achieve successful outcomes managing diseases and conditions of the ear, nose, throat and related areas.

Dr. Lazar graduated from Cornell University in 1988 and received her medical degree from UHS/Chicago Medical School in 1992. She trained in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and at Boston University where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lazar has served as Chair of the Division of Otolaryngology for eight years at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital -Somerset in Somerville, NJ.

Dr. Lazar is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology –Head and Neck Surgery. She is a member of the American Rhinologic Society, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the New Jersey Academy of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery and the AMA.

Dr. Lazar sees patients at ENTA’s state-of-the-art office in Bridgewater, NJ. Her scope of practice includes all medical and aspects of adult and pediatric ENT. Dr. Lazar integrates cutting edge technology into her surgical practice including 3D Computed Tomography image guidance and balloon sinuplasty for sinus surgery among others.

Dr Lazar is an experienced physician whose excellence has been recognized by her peers as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2004. She also serves as the Chair of the Retirement Plan Committee of ENTA since 2017.
