About Jessica Colon, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Dr. Jessica Barczik earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in May 2017 from the Long Island Au.D Consortium consisting of Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s Universities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology, as well as a minor in Psychology, from Iona College in 2013.
Dr. Barczik completed her fourth year externship at ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP and is now a full time New York State licensed audiologist with the company. She has a variety of clinical experiences ranging from a hospital environment at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, an educational setting at Mill Neck School for the Deaf and other private practice settings.
Dr. Barczik has extensive knowledge and experience in diagnostic audiological testing, from pediatric to geriatric populations. She specializes in fitting the latest digital hearing aid technology for all types of hearing impairments. She customizes amplification options to fit her patient’s needs and lifestyle to improve hearing in various listening environments. She is well versed in vestibular and electrophysiological testing including VNG’s and ABR’s.
Dr. Barczik currently holds a NYS hearing aid dispensing license, is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is a fellow with the American Academy of Audiology.
