About Sheryl Mathew, MD

Dr. Sheryl Mathew grew up in central New Jersey and pursued an accelerated seven-year BS/MD program, earning her undergraduate degree from Drexel University and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. She then returned to Philadelphia for a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Pennsylvania, which included training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she gained additional expertise in caring for pediatric patients.

Dr. Mathew has a particular interest in food allergies, rhinitis, and urticarial disorders. She is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care rooted in the latest evidence to help her patients manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.

When not in the office, Dr. Mathew enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
