ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP Continues to Grow the Group’s footprint in Central New Jersey Welcomes Jay B. Horowitz, M.D., F.A.C.S., and Kenneth A. Kaplan, M.D.

Tarrytown, NY – November 7, 2018: In order to provide greater depth of service to its many patients in New Jersey, ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is proud to announce that otolaryngologists Jay B. Horowitz, M.D., F.A.C.S., and Kenneth A. Kaplan, M.D. will join the practice effective April 1, 2019.
Drs. Horowitz and Kaplan, of Advanced Otolaryngology Associates of Central NJ (AOANJ), have offices in East Brunswick and Morganville. With this joinder, ENTA plans to relocate its current East Brunswick office by expanding with the office of Drs. Horowitz and Kaplan and consolidating all the physicians under one roof. ENTA physicians Bruce Edelman, Steven Sabin and Sara Axelrod, would move into a newly renovated office in East Brunswick, located at 557 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
Drs. Horowitz and Kaplan will close their current Morganville location (at 87 Route 520 Morganville, NJ 07751) and ENTA will complete renovations to expand its Old Bridge office, allowing Drs. Horowitz and Kaplan to see patients in ENTA’s Old Bridge location, just up the road from Morganville.
This move comes on the heels of the addition of Deborah F. Rosin, M.D. and Carl A. Mazzara, M.D. to ENTA’s Woodbridge office. Drs. Rosin and Mazzara are expected to begin seeing adult and pediatric patients in the second quarter of 2019. With the addition of these fine physicians, ENTA will now have over 25 physicians practicing in Central New Jersey.
Jay B. Horowitz, M.D., F.A.C.S. grew up in Brooklyn, New York and received his Bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983. He received his M.D. degree from Yale University, and won the Nicholas J. Giarman award for an outstanding thesis. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Yale in 1992. Dr. Horowitz joined Dr. Highstein in private practice in Central New Jersey. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is Chief of Otolaryngology at St. Peter's University hospital as well as a clinical associate professor of surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has received the distinction of being named among New Jersey Monthly's Top Doctors for numerous years.
Kenneth A. Kaplan, M.D. grew up in Hewlett-Woodmere, New York and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, then received his Bachelor’s degree and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. He spent the next nine years at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, receiving his M.D. degree and residency training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Upon completion of his training, in 1996 Dr. Kaplan joined Drs. Highstein and Horowitz, bringing with him his broad-based skills in modern Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery and Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He was listed as one of the Top Docs in New Jersey Monthly in 2017 and 2018.
