Welcomes Rhinologist and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgeon Roheen Raithatha, M.D. to its Park Slope (soon to be brand new Brooklyn Heights), Bay Ridge Clinical Locations
Tarrytown, NY- July 18, 2013, Brooklyn is Kings County. So it is not surprising that ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is giving that borough’s residents the royal treatment by providing them enhanced medical services and capabilities and improved clinical facilities.
ENTA, whose 40 clinical offices throughout NY and NJ boast superb physicians possessing the most advanced training in the fields of otolaryngology, laryngology, neurotology, facial plastics, allergy and audiological care, today announced that Rhinologist and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgeon Roheen Raithatha, M.D., will join its Park Slope and Bay Ridge West offices inSeptember, 2013.
The Practice also confirmed its previous announcement that its current Park Slope office (at 406 15th St) will be moving into brand new state-of-the-art facilities at One Pierrepont Plaza in Brooklyn Heights, sometime in late 4th quarter 2013, and Dr. Raithatha will move along with it.
Dr. Roheen Raithatha graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia & Cornell Campus)/Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center, and then went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY.
Dr. Raithatha couldn’t have brought his sub-specialist skills to ENTA at a better time. The Practice will shortly be announcing the formation of its newest division, the Advanced Sinus/Skull Base Center. This sub-specialty team will consist of its ear nose and throat surgical specialists who dedicate a portion of their practice to diagnosing and endoscopically treating nasal and sinus disorders, and further recognize those physicians who possess additional expertise through either fellowship training or because a majority of their practice is spent performing advanced nasal, sinus and skull base surgery or-on an oncologic basis-sinus and skull base cancers.
Dr. Roheen Raithatha joins a stellar physician line up including Otolaryngologists Drs. Ramez Habib, Christopher Song, Francisca Yao, Sheldon Palgon, Allergist/Immunologist Milo Vassallo, MD, PhD. and Audiologists Sofya Shlafman, Au. D, Alison Rooney, Au. D., and Jenna Elias, Au. D. in ENTA’s full service Park Slope and Bay Ridge West offices. These very same physicians will be moving to One Pierrepont Plaza in Brooklyn Heights, where ENTA recently leased 12,000 sq. ft. of prime clinical space. to serve the patients of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, Dumbo, Carroll Gardens, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene and Boerum Hill. One Pierrepont Plaza is easily accessible to 13 Subway Lines, 15 Bus Lines and the LIRR.
