Art Schwacke, who handles both day-to-day and long term financial responsibilities, came to ENTA from Healix Healthcare, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He was at that privately held home healthcare firm from December 1995 through September 1998 and, among other things, obtained over $4.0 million in financing for this startup company and engineered the merger of the Company into Accuhealth, Inc.; a publicly traded home health concern in April 1998.
Mr. Schwacke began in healthcare in 1989 with Continental Health Affiliates, Inc., and served as Controller for the publicly traded home healthcare and nursing home management company. His career commenced in 1978 with the accounting firm of Wiss and Company and he held senior level accounting positions in broadcasting and cable television, construction, and consumer products industries before entering the healthcare field. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and a Certified Public Accountant with memberships in the AICPA, New Jersey Society of CPAs, the MGMA, AOA, and the AOA Executive Large Group Forum.
